Having Fun and What Makes You Happy Readers and Writers

Image
Seriously, what makes you happy right now in your life? We all have different things that make us happy at different stages of our life. Normally, or I should say for most people that would be something much different in your childhood that your teens, your twenties, and your thirties as well as now in my sixties. Some much has changed over my lifetime and so many things have sadly stayed the same. For today, making videos, writing my fiction stories and helping other authors along with their own writing and publishing journey has been making me happy.

Books on our Online Store - Patricia Cornwells Hornets Nest In this first title of a new mystery series, Cornwell introduces us to a dynamic trio of crime solvers in Charlotte, North Carolina: Andy Brazil, an eager young reporter; Judy Hammer, the city's police chief; and Virginia West, Hammer's deputy and a genuine head turner. They're after a serial killer who pulls male out-of-towners from their rental cars and then mutilates, spray paints, and shoots them, in that order. Workamping in Florida - Dade Battlefield Historic State Park Workamping

Image
I am in the process of making some changes to my Workamping in Florida website by finally adding my workamping reviews for all the Florida public land areas we worked for over the 5 years. Also, I hope to enlist some other workampers to send in their reviews and I would like to start going back to these places to interview the Volunteer Coordinators, take some pictures and videos and interview some willing workampers. If I could get grant to help pay for my expenses, pay Katie a salary and purchase the equipment and RV needed to hit the road again I would go in a heartbeat. The trick would be to finally get everything out of our storage unit, automate the sale of the used books to have some kind of income going and find willing partners to fund the project. It could be a two-or-three for one journey. One would be volunteer workamping experiences, another might be reporting on the accessibility challenges at these public land areas and how we can overcome them and the third would be to

. Here is another podcast with a client and a friend. Dr. JoAnn Lordahl has a very laid-back view on life, would rather be holistic in her approach to health, has survived and triumphed over a battle with cancer and a stroke. She is over 90 years young and we wish another 10 years to continue with her research and publishing the books she wishes to publish.

Southern Dragon Publishing - Carnival Gypsy Reading from A Chapter

Carnival Gypsy Reading from A Chapter - the audio versions of the book by Dorothy Gilman Butters. Creating these little vignettes from your books can be quite entertaining for your potential readers. I am just not sure I like the A.I. version of the audiobook narrator. Since Google offers this service for free I guess we cannot complain one way or another.

Jolene's Book Review for the Liz Adams Mystery Series

Image
Review for First Book Charleston Conundrum by Stacy Wilder My rating: 4 of 5 stars The first book in the Liz Adams Mystery series is called Charleston Conundrum. It is a little bit different than most of the cozy mysteries I have read in the past. But it is definitely a Christian Cozy Mystery set in the SOUTH (Bless Your Heart). I just love books about our southern states that do not have a lot of sugary-sweet southern talk. This story appealed to me because it is about a little bit older woman who after she finished off a nasty divorce in Atlanta, quit her corporate job, she decided to pursue her dream and become a 'real' private investigator, moved to Charleston, a really lovely historical place, and, educated herself in the position, interned with a prominent PI in the area and then opened her own firm. There are hints in the first book that she solved murders before this story and got on the bad side of a burnt-out local police detective. She is flat-out broken-hearted whe
