All authors know that getting reviews is probably one of the better was to get your stories noticed. Honest reviews are always best folks. Purchasing those reviews is not a good idea. But there are services out there that may be a good investment such as Goodreads, Net Galley, Bookbub, and even Book Funnel. Each has their own costs, requirements, virtues and not so great problems.  Netgalley has curated books by traditional publishing companies that offer previews of upcoming books to those who are willing to read them, provide a review and some feedback. I just join last month. I had heard through the internet grapevine that they even send out paperbacks and hardbacks to the more prolific reviewers. I am going to give it a go for a year and see what happens.

2024 is another year where business managers for all kinds and sizes of global enterprises even small ones like authors have to keep abreast of the current problems of A.I. and cyber threats that are intent on stealing from you. That includes grabbing your texts and instant messages out of the air. I don't know what the solution is but is probably best if we all try to keep up with the latest trends in cyber security and some of the more common ways to keep ourselves safe.
