Jolenes Book and Writers Talk Podcast - Year 3 Episode 1 with Casey Dawes

Casey has a delightful series about RVing senior ladies (three sisters) getting a second chance at love while they travel around the countryside in a Recreational Vehicle (RV) meeting new people and getting re-acquainted with each other. They have their ups and downs and there are some challenges as well. All-in-all I found the first book a very nice read and I cannot wait until I get time to read the second one. 

              

The first episode of the new year for Jolene's Book and Writer's Talk podcast has been posted. Today I am working on the second episode. I am a little behind on the editing as my summer classes started on Monday and I wanted to get all this week's work done and turned in. This way I will have the next 4 days to get the podcast edited and uploaded to the various platforms. This takes quite a bit of time as I have to edit the video for any extra sounds and background noises and the places where we are getting started or ending. Not everything makes it into the podcast. Then, I separate the audio portion to run it through another program to improve the sound quality. I put it back with the video and added in the captions. Finally, I shoot the introduction and paste that into the final product. Then it is time to upload the video to YouTube and the audio files to Apple and Spotify. 

The first podcast was originally 55 minutes long. It took about 16 hours to get everything done. Later this week I will take some clips from the show and add them to a written article on one of my websites. This weeks episode should be ready for uploading by Thursday morning, I hope.
