Since starting this adventure, other authors have asked her to help with their creations. She has pooled all their questions and requests for help into this series of books. With a third one on the way, this series is geared toward providing the reader with a one-on-one tutoring session to help pull their book together and publish successfully. Book 1 focuses on formatting using a commonly used word processing program – Microsoft Word. Book 2 focuses on creating a cover for your book and uploading both the manuscript and the cover file to KDP (Kindle Direct Publishing). Check out the Full Article - click on picture below

Podcast with Author Cindi Handley Goodeaux - Cindi talks about her books, her writing process as well as her thoughts on the book banning, indie versus traditional publishing then finally some helpful tips for others wanting to get into the children's book writing business. Her last book is ISHKABIBBLE UNAFRAID: This story of a monster afraid of children began as an idea to use with a puppet when Cindi was Giggle Blossom the Clown. It was written in February 2019, and then set aside after feedback that made her feel like it was no good. She picked it back up again in early 2021 and shared it with her publisher. After feedback from her publisher’s daughter, Cindi wrote the other half of the story.

Second Episode for Jolenes Book and Writers Talk Podcast

It has been a Week from Heck! I have been trying to get this episode up online since Wednesday. I got a late start because I really wanted to get all of the schoolwork for my first class of the summer term completed in one go. J olenes Book and Writers Talk Podcast - Year 3 Episode 1 with Casey Dawes Casey has a delightful series about RVing senior ladies (three sisters) getting a second chance at love while they travel around the countryside in a Recreational Vehicle (RV) meeting new people and getting re-acquainted with each other. They have their ups and downs and there are some challenges as well. All-in-all I found the first book a very nice read and I cannot wait until I get time to read the second one.                 The first episode of the new year for Jolene's Book and Writer's Talk podcas t has been posted. Today I am working on the second episode. I am a little behind on the editing as my summer classes started on Monday and I wanted to get all this week's work done and turned in. This way I will have the next 4 days to get the podcast edited and uploaded to the various platforms. This takes quite a bit of time as I have to edit the video for any extr...
