Last Assignment for the Last Class Spring Term 2024!!! YES! I got another semester done towards my bachelor's degree. I was going to take the summer off and get caught up on writing stuff and household stuff BUT ... I GOT A SCHOLARSHIP! for being a part-time college student and it will pay for 90% of the tuition for summer term. So, why not. I have two classes, both are 8 weeks long, I take one the first 8 weeks and the other during the last of summer term. From May 6th s June 25th I will be taking Customer Relations for Management and from July 1st until Aug 20th I will be taking Introduction to Management Information Systems. Oh yea! I almost forgot I have to student for a Civic Literacy test sometime during the summer. That is another one of those pesky state requirements before graduating. I signed up for Fall -Term and even Full-Time, hoping that with my grades I might come across a scholarship or two that I might qualify for. Who knows these days. Anyway, here is how that s...

The  Silver Dagger Book tour company, sent me an entire package of materials with blog posts for bloggers and WordPress to create the post and share with my subscribers and on my social media pages. I think the service they provide is well worth the fee they charge and will be using them in the future. I may have said it in a previous post but it does need to be repeated. The only problem I have today is that I promised to post every other day or was it every day that she sends me stuff in advance. Sadly, one of these emails was for a post "out-of-order" and I missed the date by one day. So, I created a book trailer video to make up for it. 

Whoo Hoo! This is the last assignment I have this semester for the Principles in Management Class. I still have to get dressed up in professional attire and video myself giving a presentation about the Foundations of Business Communications for the other class but I am wrapping up another semester! About the above video Being in any kind of business takes a lot of work and learning a wide variety of things. Defining your business, your values, your mission, your business identity and so much more. Of course, you also have to go through a whole course about controls. The Control Process, The Types of Controls, etc. Today I finished my Principles of Management class. I get a whole week off and then I have another two classes for the summer term. Checking off my class list and getting ever closer to my goal!

Not only do I try to support our North Florida writers with blog posts, free videos, and sharing of their own posts whenever I find them. This type of chain of events, I hope, will come back to me eventually. I would rather do this kind of work than some of the others I have had to do in the past to make money but no one has money to spend on creating these digital bits and pieces to sell their own books.  What are you doing this lovely spring day? Well, I have put off a college assignment until the last day so I am working towards getting that finished and uploaded before midnight. In between, I am uploading some social media posts for my writer's group - First Coast Romance Writers out of Jacksonville. I am the Director of Communication volunteer for the group and as such I keep the social media posts rolling. After I get the term paper done for the Business Communications class, I have to prepare a presentation for the Writers Alliance of Gainesville - Marketing Coalition Group that I am presenting for tomorrow at 10:00 am.
